Shirvington 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon

This wonderful Cab has aromatics of black cherry with hints of currants, black cherry, mulberry and chocolate. This is followed by a palate that is rich and very fruit forward, focusing on black fruits, and exotic spices.

Kalleske 2004 Clarry's Red

The wine is deep red in color. The nose shows uplifting aromas of ripe raspberry and sweet spice. The palate is loaded with fresh ripe fruit.  Flavors of freshly crushed raspberry and ripe plum dominate.  Tannins are very soft and the Shiraz provides excellent weight and a muscular structure. A very fruit driven mouthwatering wine. 

Tim Smith 2003 GMS 93 points W.A.

This second release Grenache blend shows the effect that a warm year with reduced yields has on the quality of Old Vine Grenache and Mataro: they are varieties that simply love heat. The quality of Grenache is such that this Vintage has a healthy 83% Grenache, 12% Mataro, and 5% Shiraz. Again, Grenache from both the Eden and Barossa Valleys are used, with Mataro and Shiraz coming from the Northern end of the Barossa. At this early stage, the classic Grenache aromatics are quite lifted, and the palate shows a structure that should benefit mid term cellaring.

Lillypilly 2005 Noble Blend 375ml

An outstanding sweet wine, deep golden in color. Very complex, floral, honeyed aromas mingle with butterscotch, spices, apricot, and mixed citrus peels. Rich and quite viscous in the mouth; sweet, ample, luscious, with soft acidity.

Elderton 2002 Command Shiraz 94-96 points W.A.

Elderton's flagship cuvee, the awesome 2002 Command Shiraz is a classically Australian, bigger than life, extroverted, flamboyant effort boasting huge notes of smoky oak, new saddle leather, roasted meats, blackberry liquer, and creme de cassis.  It is an enormously chewy, unctuously textured Shiraz that should age for 10-15 years.

Gibson 2002 Old Vine Shiraz 96 points W.A. (only 1 bottle left)

Deep opaque violet colour. Concentrated plum and anise aroma with complex notes of vanilla and pinenut emerging. Powerful plump ripe raspberry fruit flavour is gracefully balanced with lively acidity and soft dry tannin. This youthful wine already shows interesting complex notes of citrus, anise and cinnamon with pine nut characteristics, which are typical of grapes from these very old Shiraz vines. Shows finesse and will build with time. Great cellaring potential for 15+ years.

A riveting example of richness, concentration, and body. This one will drink well young, but evolve nicely over the next 12 to 15 years.

Greenock Creek 2002 Seven Acre Shiraz (5 bottles left)

The Barossa Valley and Shiraz go together. Many vineyards of very old vines, dry grown grapes, small yields and American oak create richness, flavor, length, aging ability, spice, chocolate and much more. Identified by it's personality, fruit and more fruit, noticeable oak and aromas that leap out of the glass, a real 'in your face' styles of wines. Drink these with red meats, they are great with beef particularly.

Henry's Drive Dead Letter Office 2004 Shiraz

Blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, and a smoky oak note all come together in a rich, and well defined package. Showing well now, but will continue to age for 5 years or more.

Kalleske Stonewell Red Nectar 2004 Shiraz

Dark, almost inky garnet in color, full-bodied, with generous tannins and wood that need time to settle down but under those waiting to blossom are appealing red and black berries, ripe red plums, cassis, peppermint, and white pepper.

Trevor Jones 2000 Dry Grown Shiraz

Powerful fruit structure, for good cellaring, but drinking great now. Immense flavors of wild berries balanced with rich toasty oak make this an ideal wine to accompany full flavored foods and rich red meat.

Two Way Range 2002 Shiraz 94 points Wine Advocate

Arguably one of the better Shiraz to emerge from the Aussies. This is extremely limited and bold, just the way Parker likes it.

Parson's Flat 2004 Shiraz Cabernet

The nose is rich and complex with blackcurrant and spicy aromas. The palate has lovely hints of toasty oak, complimented with huge fruit flavors.
